early model console into late model third gen?
So i got a console out of an 83 or 84 camaro that's in amazing condition, but i tried to put it in my 1991 camaro rs and it doesn't fit because the back of the e-brake is in the way.
Has anyone else had this problem? My best guess is to see if the e-brake from the earlier gen is smaller or mounted a different way to try and get it to fit in. Is there an easier way to do this?

The console is the same for camaros from 82-92. It should fit. I know the 91-92 camaros must have the new style brake handle. But the consoles are the same.

Yeah the E-brake was my problem because the older consoles are bigger in the bottom so i took the e brake out for now to get an older style.
