89' Stripped, In need of Ideas.

I was working at a body shop and my boss bought a storage lot for 1,500$ at a auction. Inside was a 89' 305 TBI RS Camaro ( Iroc Blue ), 75,000 orig miles. He thought the car was ugly and in a way it was, boxes had been piled on it in storage and the roof leaked which ruined the paint on the car. So for 1,500 i bought it, i stripped it down and painted it Flat Black Base/Clear... the interior was nice so i left it and only added a Grant steering wheel and a Hurst shifter. 5 years later... ive got two kids and the ive come to find the 305 just doesnt have the power i want. Shes got 89,000 on her now and its time for a make over, Yesterday i drove it into the garage and stripped her down to nothing but the hull. Engine and harness are going to my father in law as a donation to his 66' chevy pickup project. My plans are to either buy a painless harness or just build one myself, im keeping it as simple as i can... ill just be using it for cruise nights or just hotrodding. in the 5 years ive owned it, the dash went on a down hill slope pretty fast and ive been researching all your guys info on the 4th gen interior swaps, and its got me interested. if i go that route then id like to convert the whole thing and not just the dash, and how well do they really fit? Should i keep the stock or do the Swap? if you have any pictures of some good swaps please post. To give you a idea of the wireing ill be running a carb'd 350 HO full roller, and will just need enough to make it street legal and run. the only part of the harness i kept was the wires coming from the fuel pump and the tail light section. ive even concidered running the plastic tank from the 4th gen aswell.

Any info is a big help, And if you have any ideas of somethings youve done to improve yours please add. ill try and post some before and after pics

Thanks Man, Its harder to do Flat in Base/Clear then single stage... you really have to watch how you over lap your layers or youll end up with a stripey mess lol.
