Bargain racing seats?

I am looking for seats for my IRoc to replace stock. (I have a cage and 5 points and the stock seats just wont cut it.) I stumbled upon these.

http://www.hyperautoparts.com/shop/p...cat=377&page=1

I was wondering if anyone has them or can suggest other seats for around the same price?

Re: Bargain racing seats?

installed a set of the same seats (easy install) (red and black)
i used factry GM rails (how tall are you) im 6'4" and set mine up to sit me and a brain bucket. (did a full install and set up post. on the seats)
(they do come with rails) i wanted to use my GM parts

the seats them self are a good deal.

you can get them in any color combo you can think of (not joking)

saw on ebay some one selling rolls of the cloth that cover the seats
so door panles and back seats can be recoverd to match the new seats
(always nice)

and a photo

Re: Bargain racing seats?

they have a pair of Universal Seats covered in PVC leather w/ brackets for the same price on Ebay. Im also looking at buying a set, just focused on trying to get the engine swap done first. i belive the ones i saw were 35" tall, so thats nice considering the head room.

i just searched for " Universal Racing Seats PVC " and set my refine to minimum 50$, buy it now and lowest to highest.

Re: Bargain racing seats?

Yeah I know how that goes. Was going to put a 355 in mine and just call its reliable and fun. Then it became a pissing contest and $5000 and 500hp later... Im just now looking for seats to "finish" it.

disk brakes should be a snap.. lots of Z28s about.
i picked this car up brand new back in 1992. before sending it to Lingenfelter in 93 for there stage 5 upgrade. still smells new..

the fall is a bad time to take a photo
i think every shot i have dead leavs in it
the car has never seen the rain or a wet street. and never left out side.(long)

so the paint is still fantastic 19 years and still going strong (Paint that is)
