protect those OEM seats!

I spent quite a bit of money constructing nice seats without resorting to repo fabric. I love the look, but I want them to last, so I found some seat covers at wal mart that do a respectable job of looking similar to the factory fabric, but protects the seats from wear and stains.

They are easy to slip off if I want to show the car, in fact I just took them off yesterday. Two small clips, and they slip right off.

Here's the seats with and without the covers... I can live with that look for daily driving...

i'm shocked how close the fabric looks to the headrests. I even put a piece of shaped foam under the passenger seat cover for extra comfort. I made one for my seat too, but I'm too tall to use it, my head rubs the roof as it is

That is a great idea for protecting the seats. I can't believe how well they match the headrests, either. Impressive.

Swap to a set of 4th gen seat tracks...stock 3rd gen seat cushions but on the 4th gen tracks...and you'll get some good head room & they'll still look stock to the untrained eye. I doubt even a car show judge inspecting to a level of "contours" would notice that they are sitting lower.

Re: protect those OEM seats!

I have a set of 4th gen seats, but the drivers side is electric. Can I use that on a 3rd gen seat?
