wrapped my dash

So i decided to try to wrap my dash pad today. n i think it turned out damn good.

it looks like a nice first try. If I could make a suggestion, it would be to flatten the cracks in the pad by filling them with something (bondo, expanding foam, whatever) and then using a sander or grinder to flatten out the high spots. Once you do that, tightly wrapping the pad with a good quality vinyl that stretches with heat will give you the ability to get it nice and tight, and to fully wrap it around the corners.

I have heard of this but what do you use and how do you wrap a dashpad? And btw that looks great!

The corners look ok they could have been better. It was my first time wrapping something like this. and Jim yea i was thinking about that after i started, it turned out great minus that part. ill prob redo it again later down the road but i highly suggest using the marine vinyl i got its very flexible but very solid and it supposed to uv ray protected so little to no sun damage! .

Yeah, the corners are usually the challenge for anyone trying to wrap a dash pad.

i saw a guy use that rhino bed liner stuff on a dash. it actually came out very nice. never thought of wraping it. not bad.
