Am I missing an interior panel?
Just about finished my interior, was putting the final pieces back together when I realized that I (might) be missing a piece. On the passenger side, there is a panel that goes up under the dash and conceals all of the wires (it has a little bulb that installs in it). But I don't have a similar panel for the driver's side. I looked through all of my old parts and I don't have anything, nor do I remember taking one off.
My question is...should there be some sort of panel there? Looks like it would go right behind or above the pedals.

Yes there is a panel for the driver side as well. And it should have a removable fuse box door in it.
I know that a lot of people take them off and leave them off though. I haven't had mine on in a year because I'm under there working on stuff so often, running new wires for things and such. You don't really notice it unless you are squatting down outside the car with the door open... or you are shorter than 3 feet

Yes, there should be a panel there. Its big. Covers the entire underdash, covers fusebox to center console.

Some cars were equipped with hush panels, others weren't. The link below may be interesting reading:

If you didn't take one off, then you aren't missing it today. It might have been removed long ago or it might have never been there. Do you have the courtesy lights under the dash. If so, the driver's side should be hanging by a wire if you had the panel. If the light is attached to a small bracket on the column, then you never had the hush panel on the driver side.
