Hatch weatherstripping?

My hatch motor isn't working and my hatch is leaking. I don't know if it's because the hatch isn't being sealed because of the motor or if the weatherstripping is just bad. Does anyone know where to get some good weatherstripping that would work and doesn't cost me $100?

Re: Hatch weatherstripping?

Is it the fancy pull down? Does it pull down any bit?

You can try adjusting it lower to where it bearly latches on to see if that helps. I know finding these at a yard is hard from experience but I have one in my garage, unfortunately its not working.

Also if you desire the seal, check the yards. Pick up a portable heat gun to make it home with one.

Re: Hatch weatherstripping?

I'll do something about the hatch motor and pick up the seal. I got a hatch motor out of an 84 Z28 on Friday but it's a manual one and I don't know if it'll work in my car. And I'll definitely be ordering that seal off rockauto thanks evilemo! And Carlos there are no yards around here that's why I'm always bothering you for parts lol.
