Looking for installed pics of ABS headliner

Can those of you that have purchased the ABS headliner post installed pics? I continuously hear that they don't fit well. I'd like to see pics so I know just how good or bad the fit. Show any and all issues that you've experienced with these. Thanks

Scott - no - don't do it. Yours has to be in good enough shape to recover it.

Re: Looking for installed pics of ABS headliner

My headliner is fine. I'm looking to educate myself on the aftermarket. I also want to see what the complaints are. So many people say they fit like crap and I want to see what they mean. The factory headliners weren't perfect and I'm wondering if people that require headliners thought the factory was a better fit than they actually were. I just want to see the complaints and I haven't seen any in 3 weeks so I'm assuming they aren't as bad as people say.

Re: Looking for installed pics of ABS headliner

I have 2 factory headliners - one in my 82 and one in my 89. Other then the 82 needing recovering, both of them fit fine. Without even seeing one in person, the fact that they are missing both front clips by the windshield makes me want to avoid them. I would also like to see some pics. But I would think that complaints over the fit of original headliners would have to be linked to how they were treated over the years. Water damage would be the biggest culprit.

Re: Looking for installed pics of ABS headliner

I got mine several years ago and it fits kind of ok but it does have some issues. It has gaps around where the TTop openings are.
I guess it needs to be tighter against the center bar and around the curves to rear in front of the rear upper seatbelt mount. Also the covering isn't wrapped quit all the way where the curves are but it has the correct thickness for the foam backing...
I would give mine a C+ to B- ..
I'll try to get spome pix posted but its on my lift..

Mine is the same way. Im gonna take a heat gun to it when I get a chance and maybe bend it in tighter abit. Other than the T-bar area in some spots i would use one over stock as I like them
