Are our visors proprietary?

Just wondering if visor mounts are typically the same. I'm looking to remote mount the faceplate of my headunit in the drivers visor, but was wondering if I found a thicker visor from another make if it would bolt in.

Anyone know off the top of their heads?

Re: Are our visors proprietary?

As far as mounting, I believe most GM vehicles from this era are the same...however, the shape and size of the visors varies a good bit from model to model.
