Turn Signal Question

Hey guys, was just giving the interior of my 86 T/A a spring Armor All'ing today and got looking at the turn signal a little closer. I came across a couple buttons that I'm not sure what they do. One is in the very tip of the shaft that I can push in, and the other is square button bellow the wiper speed control that slides lengthways a couple notches.

Possibly a dumb question, but it's my first third gen so I'm still learning. haha

Re: Turn Signal Question

That push in button is for your cruise control. I have no idea what the square button is your talking about,There is a lever just forward of the turn signal, that's for tilt wheel.Post a pic and let us see what it is,maybe we can help.
I think your talking about the cruise control setting,is it on the shaft itself ?

Re: Turn Signal Question

The slider button I think you are talking about is part of the cruise control also. I can't remember what is does anymore but it should have writing on it. If not just look for a new one and it will telll you

Re: Turn Signal Question

I just looked it up and all the way left should be off, middle is on, and i think left is resume for the cruise control.

Guess I should push that tab to the "off" position then. Always fun when the white writing wears off of the **** and switches leaving you clueless as to what they do.
