T5/T56 shift pattern fix

When I got my car there was no shift pattern just an open hole in the shifter plate. Also missing was the white box the bulb mounts to. I bought the T56 shift plate from Hawks and decided to make a box to mount the bulb to light it up.

It fits in pretty snug to the shift plate

I used CA (krazy) glue to glue it together

I put this piece in to make sure the pattern doesn't fall down in.

I made it just a bit too tall do the shift boot bracket hold it in. If it doesn't work out I'll make up some mounts for it. Don't mind the fiberglass cloth. It is what I used along with CA glue to fix my cracks.

The original box is painted red inside with no bulb cover. I may end up doing this as the bulb cover makes it too orange. But I just happened to have the cover so I used it.

Re: T5/T56 shift pattern fix

I bought one, but can't figure out how to remove the 5 spd pattern, or the light box.

FWIW, I didn't realize I had a light box, so I get to research that as well.
