LED gauge confusion from many threads

I want to put LED bulbs into my gauges and I am doing some research. The threads on LEDs for the gauges are confusing and I can't find an answer. What I want to know is for my 87 Camaro

1. Do I use a 194 or 161?

2. How many bulbs do I need? ( excluding the engine check light and seatbelts)

3. What the brightest you would recommend? I am planning on putting blue lights in

Number for the cluster:

The following tip will help brighten the gauges:

While you have the cluster removed, you might wish to repair the trip odometer (I assumed it's broken as most are):

Re: LED gauge confusion from many threads

Thanks, I am going to give it a shot this weekend. I got a 10 bulb pack but I have an LED in my map light which I will take out from there. The map light button is starting to stick and its not like I use it all the time anyway. Another this is I am debating on a white or blue. I got blue covers for the leds in my console and its not bright but it looks nice.
