3rd and 4th gen seat question
can you replace the third-generation seat track rails for the fourth generation seat track rails?, so that way you have the Seat Height difference + Automatic seats (assuming the third generation seat track rails are manual). Or will the bolts not match up?.
And no, im not talking about bolting the seats to the car. I'm talking about swapping track rails, Under the seats.

yea I can wait.. I know 4th gen seats fit in 3rd gens so I know the rails will bolt to the car but not sure if its a direct fit for rails to seat.

Regarding height, I pulled my 4th gen seats off of a one-owner, 35k mile '97 Formula. I noticed that under all four corners of the front seats were washers. Perhaps it was a factory thing to give them some height as an afterthought? Either way, if you need more height, buy yourself a stack.

Re: 3rd and 4th gen seat question
i prefer less height, im 6' and would prefer not to hit my head on the ttops after a speed bump
i like the stock look of the 3rd gen seats but prefer the track rails on the 4th gens.

Ditto that. My only issue now is since I've a bad knee, as a daily driver it's sometimes a bit of a chore getting out. lol
