Door sills

Anybody have custom door sills? Wondering if you guys have custom made some aluminum ones or maybe even swapped in ones from a diiferent vehicle? I know they sell em for the newer style Birds/Camaros but i don't think those would work.

Re: Door sills

I just saw a thread with a member's car who had them done in metal - maybe stainless? Let me see if I can remember where I saw it. FWIW they looked pretty good.

Re: Stainless Door sills

Man, look what I found that I forgot I had... LOL!!! I bought these from someone here on ThirdGen. I think it was stainless guy or something like that. It's been 14 years or so. One is still in plastic the other is uncovered. Not sure if I wanna sell them or use them as templates and fabricate more.

Is there any interest in these if I were to fabricate them for you guys? They are a nice heavy gauge stainless brushed finish.

Did you ever make any more metal door sills? I'm interested in a pair.
