Trip OD not working.

Some days it is stuck on 0.5, and other days it moves but changes all numbers, i can see it getting stuck, stop and start. So what is the solution, take it out of dash and clean it? I have hit that reset button many times when i drive it. My ride is an '88, with about 82k miles on it. That OD works fine as far as I know.
Thanks,

Re: Trip OD not working.

Thanks for the link. I figured somebody been thru this before. And yes, I did a search for posts, but not the FAQs. The fix looks doable for sure. Ihave had my gage cluster out before, just not the speedo. I was gonna do this project over winter, but i really need the trip OD, for fuel milage, and mainly cuz my fuel gage is not that accurrate. Good rainy day project.
Regards,
Mike
