Heater control stickers??

My heater control is in good shape but the hot to cold blue to red sticker bar is missing. Surely someone makes these stickers. I don't even care if its specifically for the Camaro I can probably cut one to fit. Has anybody know where i can find something like this??

Either way, your current HVAC control unit would have to come out. My suggestion would be to go to a junkyard/find a parts car, remove the HVAC controls with nice lettering and then install that one in place of yours. It's a very easy job.

Unfortunately that's not a sticker...it's painted on like everything else on the car. If they used stickers, I wouldn't have needed to spend hundreds of dollars replacing electrical switches that were perfectly good but had no print left on them. You'll need to find another faceplate.

Re: Heater control stickers??

Yeah, Camaro ones were just black with either white or yellow lettering. Pontiacs were the only ones with the red to blue markings. Have good clean units of all three kinds if you can't find one anywhere

Are you sure it is supposed to have that sticker? I searched around on the net and it looks like the 89 Camaro has a plain black face on the HVAC.

Firebirds were the ones that had the red and blue. Saw some on ebay and thought about switching mine but I decided to stay true to the camaro.

Re: Heater control stickers??

oh, so it never had a sticker? I just wanna get mine looking good, do you know anything that will shine it up and not damage the lettering? It has a dull film over it possibly ciggarette smoke. I can flake it off with my fingernail and underneith is nice black plastic.

Re: Heater control stickers??

Are all the control units interchangable, say from '86 to '92? I hate the yellow lettering on my '92 Camaro.
