90-92 Camaro odometer....spinning backwards?
This is not a thread on how to reset the odometer, i got this cluster from a friend who pulled it out for the weirdest problem, the odometer/trip spin in reverse?! I cant find any info on the disassembly of these units so if someone has a link to a thread on how to take the cluster apart i would appreciate it, ive ripped up plenty of the 80's style ones but im iffy on just diving into this modular style one. Im hoping it will be a simple fix because my current cluster needs a tach fix and the trip reset stalk is snapped off.
Has anyone come across this? Any info on the cluster disassembly would be appreciated

Re: 90-92 Camaro odometer....spinning backwards?
It seems like someone messed with it in the past (probably to fix the trip odo) and connected the 2 wires running to the odo motor backwards. There are probably (I know about the Bird clusters but not sure on the Camaro clusters) 2 black wires running from the odo motor to the drive board, which connect to 2 pins sticking out of the drive board. Try reversing them first.

I found a 4 pin plug that attaches the assembly into the PCB, I see no identifying marks of any kind on which direction it would go, I can see easily how it could be reversed
