Re: Help fellow verts with seat belts
I have a 91 TA and don't know whether there is any differences. Maybe a Camaro member will help you. Sorry.

Re: Help fellow verts with seat belts
Yes. The shoulder harness mounts on the bottom of the tonneau cover and the lap belt is anchored in the arm rest on my 91. The buckles interlock together and secure in a latch that is at the side of each seat cushion. It is a 2 piece belt setup.

I don't know if this is the same as yours and my car is laid up with some other "winter" repairs going on about 30 miles from me. I'll keep an eye on this thread and, if no one has helped before I go to my garage, I'll look at mine and see if I can answer your questions. I'll probably be there within 2 weeks.

Re: Help fellow verts with seat belts
Hey those sound like mine. Ya when ever you have time is cool maybe I'll get lucky and someone else will help me. The problem I have is that they are both the same so nothing to distinguish left from right the only thing I can think of is if both weights are facing front of car or rear will determine there placement I thine the guy who did them for me made that mistake and sewed the the same way so both be facing the same therefore making it only for one side. Thanks. U can email me to. Hinlook@aol.com

Re: Help fellow verts with seat belts
I'll be working on my car in the next few days and I will take some pictures of my belts for you. I am not sure what you are calling the "weights". Can you tell me? Do you mean the pieces that are on the end of the belts that connect the shoulder belt to the lower seatbelt when you buckle someone into the seat?

Re: Help fellow verts with seat belts
Both belt ends should have the connecting piece pointing down when mounted. It looks like yours have one up and one down causing the one to require twisting to mate with the bottom belt.

I was working on my car today and snapped some pictures. I'll send them to your email account since I think they are too big to post here.
