Another "how do you remove this shift ****" thread

Been searching for about a half hour.




Wont budge a bit. Tried twisting, pulling, pushing...

What am I missing?

on the front of the shift kob there is a part that looks like a staple, take a screwdriver and bry it out then pull up on the ****.

my bad didnt see the clip in photo first glance tap with a small hammer it will come up

Well you were right.
tapped it a couple of times and then gave it a good yank and off it came.
Damn near punched myself in the face haha... probably shouldn't have been looking at the top of it when it came off.
