I need opinions for interior color!

I am re-doing my 91 RS and I just finished installing black carpet. The stock was all red and I hated it. My original plan was to go all black. However, I keep getting compliments on the red and black mix that I currently have (since I still have the red door panels on and red/black seat covers).

So I just want to hear some opinions of my fellow third-gen owners. This will help me determine whether or not I dye all my interior panels black.

I think if you want to keep a stock looking interior go with the two colors. If you do all black i think it will be too much. I dont think theres a single camaro (stock) that only uses a single color.

So if your going for an aftermarket look go for it. If you want to keep the stock appearance go with two colors.

Re: I need opinions for interior color!

Thanks for the reply! With exception of the dash and console, mine was all red. I'm not really trying to go for a certain look per se, I just don't want to go back to all red. My next project will be ordering the headliner and getting the plastic panels back in. The rear compartment panels are a little worse for wear, though. They were cut right where the back seat rests for some reason and the previous owner used some brackets to try to hold them together. I will be trying to repair them using epoxy and the only way to hide that is with dye.

Maybe I can find a complete set of black panels...

Re: I need opinions for interior color!

Well, I installed what was left of my interior. I forgot I hacked up my rear plastic panels to make room for a built-in fiberglass speakerbox....

Looks like I will be shopping for some panels soon. I can live with it for now. Next up will be a new headliner though.
