i think this might b bad
so today I was working on my driver door panel and I saw these (look at pictures) and was like holy ****. what do those rivets hold and how do I fix it?
btw the its something to do with the power windows, the 2nd pic is the door at the bottom right, 1st pic is diagonal up from it, and the rivets move when using the window.

Hard to tell from the pic but those are probably the rivets that hold the window regulator. If you don't have any welding skills you might get away with drilling out the rivets and using a nut and bolt with a large washer on each side.

Just drill them out and use the correct rivets, they appear to be to small.

It is hard to tell from the pics but they are most likely the rivets to the window regulator/motor. The rivets if i remember correct are 1/4". Should be able to get them at an auto parts store, but the rivet gun to rivet them is like $70. I borrowed the rivet gun from a friend who owns a body shop. A body shop would have that style rivet gun. should be really cheap to take it to a body shop and have the rivets redone.
Found this one for you. A lot cheaper than what i found when i looked.

Before you do anything, look at the area of the door shell around the rivets. If there is any stress cracking or other damage, you're either going to need a welder or to get your hands on another door shell.
Second, get some 1/4" bolts and nuts. Forget those rivets. Cut the ends of the bolts off when you get the nuts on and call it a day. I didn't have a problem with nuts and bolts in the 6 years I had them holding my passenger's side door together (window regulator and power door lock motor), and I don't expect to have any issues with either door now. If you're really that nervous about using bolts as opposed to rivets, some threadlocker may help, but I've never used it there.
