What is this panel
Dumb question probably but can some one tell me what the panel is just to the rear of the power window switch and top switch. Haven't seen it before on 3rd gen camaros

Oh wow i missed what you where taking about as I thought it was the lid latch to the console. Ive never seen that before

I can't take a photo.. It is a car that I just say online. I wish I could see it better but it's definitely a stock part. Was just real curious.

It is not a factory installed part. If it was, there would be some mention of it in the owner's manual or FSM.
Edit: it's a control panel for a remote mount radar detector.

Cool. At least an aftermarket product has an almost identical grain pattern as the console so it can look like it would be an option.

I have an 86 berlinetta...lots of switches...to the rear of window switches, I have a cruise control on/off switch as well as a rear window defrost on/off switch...

It was a car that was for sale on the net. I cant find it anymore so it must have been sold. Just curious. Car was a 91 rs with 11000 miles on it. Sold before I could get information on it.
