Has anyone sat in, or does anyone own "racing" seats similar to these?

Basically, i LIKE this style, they are similar to what is in the car stock, but... i just cant shake the feeling that the hard hurty plastic thing for the seat belts will be RIGHT in the middle of where my head rests normally.... I'm 5'11, but my girlfriend is 5'7, i'm sure ONE of the two of us will have issue with it.
i guess that's why i'm asking. anyone have problems with this? or been in a friend's car who has them?

I was also thinking of buy these... for the price, I will deal with the plastic thing or rip it out.. correct me if I am wrong, it's only if you used harness right?
you don't have to use the 4/5 point harnesses in these, but you probably should, especially if it obstructs the normal seat belt from working.. but most cars have seats like this now, and as i said, the stock 4th gen seats aren't really all that far from them right now, so could probably get away with not using harnesses.
worth noting, these seats aren't made to crush/give like OEM seats are in a wreck. and T-top cars aren't the safest when it comes to rolling upside down, so they do recommend you put a roll bar in if you use these types of seats. (((just FYI)))
but still not sure about my original question.
