I like it, but 500.00 is pretty steep

They are a cool idea, but I just can't get over how cheap the displays look.
For example, instead of H20 or ELEC. Why couldn't they use a symbol for those that light up.
And the segmentation of the LEDs, why are they so huge? Smaller ones and more of them would look so much better and look more accurate when they increase.
For $500 I would just expect something that didn't look like it was done in an electronics class.

That's the company that took over the people that did my gauges... I dig mine a bit more - the labels are nice and minimal.

i like the multi colors on the cluster, like the factory tach that the led bar goes from green to yellow to red

I'm not totally sure on that, it seems they decided to go a bit overboard with the un-needed redesign... You can ask because basically all it is in place of the lettered LED's, is a single LED with a stenciled out Black Out film over top with it's correct gauge label... You might be able to find a set up on EBay... The Company is Called - Nordskog Performance...

Another thing I remember about these in another thread, you lose your trip gauge I thought. And the mileage one resets if your battery goes dead, is that still the case?

I never noticed this before, but check out the fuel gauge on this thing. It's all over the place. That can't be how it really works is it?

The gas gauges in all of these cars are bad. Sounds like exactly what my car does. The float just moves around as fuel sloshes. Some cars use a special time-delayed reading and wont let fluctuations like that register. (You can fill a car up with gas and it will take a few minutes to show up, for example) But our cars the gauges pick up the sloshing all over the place. Levels go down under braking and up under acceleration.

I just think for the price these things cost, and with the technology advances since the 80's these could look so much better.
What I would really love to have are gauges that have backlit LCDs. Where you could customize the look to pretty much anything you would like.

Yeah, the fuel gauge moves a lot on the Intellitronix panel. Every time you corner, brake, etc the float in the tank moves and it registers on the gauge. You get used to it though.... My factory gauges do it too if I let the tank get below half and then throw it through some hard cornering.

Can you dim down the LED's so you can see the road at night?

Thanks Beater, was wondering how they had that set up.
