Car: 1984 Trans Am Recaro

Engine: 5.0L V8

Rear hatch release handle

The only way to open my rear hatch is with a key i will eventually be putting the tail light blackout on and i want to be able to use a handle or a lever to pop it open is there a simple set up i can use

on my camaro the electric release was an easy bolt on.i use an aftermarket module to control it and the power door locks.im not familiar with 84 firebirds.
