Shifter

Well this is my first post here on thirdgen.org, but I have been a member for about a month and have just been reading and doing some research.
I am soon going to be purchasing a 1992 Camaro RS with the 305 and manual transmission. It will be the first manual I have owned, not driven though. Are there any short throw shifters out on the market for these cars that is the most popular, or "best"?
I am also looking for any advice on what my first mod should be for it. Everything works fine on it, just a little TLC and it should be good to go!

I have a 5th Gen Camaro that is my DD. This car would be my project car.

Thanks for any help!!

Re: Shifter

I've heard good things about the Pro 5.0 shifter. I only have the stock one myself but heard the Pro one allows for short, precise shifts.

First mod in my opinion is a set of sub-frame connectors. A lot of people I've talked to said they make a big difference. That is my next mod.
