cluster swap and now tach is way off
I just swapped my v6 cluster for a v8 115 mph cluster. Problem is now, my tach is horrible off. Idling, where the old cluster said like 750 rpm, the new tach is at 5500 rpm. All the way around. Start driving or giving out had and it pegs over till you idle. Also when I turn the car off of goes to 7000 rpm or the peg point. Help?

Right here. Or you can send it to a member to fix it for about $35

Thought you meant you'd swapped a V6 cluster into a V8. I'd guess the cluster either isn't seated correctly or the tach is bad.
