RAP module, 95 f-body.
Really like this feature in my s10, but the BCM is too cumbersome, but a 95 camaro RAP will do.Got it wired up & working now.These only stay one for 10 minutes, unlike the s10 @ 20min.Anyone know how to modify these to increase the minutes?
RAP & schematic.If anyone wants to know:
RED= batt+, Blk= Grd.
Brn= Ign, Gry/Blk= Dr pin.
Bl= Rad/wdw, Pink= Pwr Acc
Yllw/blk= Low coolant (not used)

Top relay is radio/window, lower is power acc (whatever that is).Both active for 10min after ign is turned off.I wired the windows to the lower instead.It activates when i open the door & stays on for 35sec after the door is closed.This way i can lower/raise my windows w/out the ignition.I had to alter the terminal at the fuse box because the windows/choke/fan are the same circuit, causing the choke/fan to run on w/ the ign off.

So I was gonna go with this idea. I was then gonna get the 95 style keyless entry/alarm, then I said screw it. I just grabbed an 01 t/a bcm and popped it in.
All in one:
controlled interior lights
battery rundown prevention
Better door locks
built in keyless entry/alarm
built in chime box
installed a better (4th gen) trunk relay b/c of redoing some wiring
eventually I will switch to the built in vats module
the gm bowtie keyfob makes it look stock
and essentially its a brain box

Way i understand it, is the ECM controls the BCM.So how did you hook it up?
Re: RAP module, 95 f-body.
it's programmable internally; uses the power lock switch, dimmer switch, and a few other normal dashboard controls in a 'programming mode' to configure things like door locking and alarm operation..
so if you're going to use it, you pretty much want to connect the entire module..
the only part i wouldn't use is the built-in starter interrupt relay for VATS; if your starter solenoid goes south, it takes that relay with it, and you can't easily repair that. better to connect that to an external relay or something.

You can find the rest here along with schematics:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/inte...-so-speak.html
Basically there are three main connectors.
#1- door lock actuators and switches
#2- power= power in, ground, certain light functions and RAP
#3- various inputs and outputs including but not limited to VATS functions (all are optional to hookup, except for the bypass that is), lights battery run down prevention, door jamb switches and etc.
For VATS, my car had it factory, I have both actually --> VATS and the BCM VATS, the latter is bypassed, but in the future, I may switch the VATS to the bcm and lose the stock one.
