I have a 87 t top Camaro that my father gave me for a project car the previous owner had made a few changes, gutted interior looks like Pontiac rims, ws6 caps half installed roll bar cage welded in.

I am thinking of keeping the roll bars and finishing them for stability not sure if there are sub frame connectors yet but I was wondering are there any detailed roll bar's out there I am thinking of painting flames down the visible roll bars wondering if that would look slick in a red exterior and black and red interior car ?

 

Is it a cage or a roll bar (cage has more bars).

If your car isn't fast enough to warrant it (sub 11.50's in the 1/4 mile for bar, sub 9.99 for a cage) then take it out.
They are a pain in the but to drive around with.
Even bigger hassle to put the interior back in with the bar/cage.

 

I apologize for the delay life has been kicking me in the teeth the history about the car is it was a as is gift to me from dad it sat for 8 years and the former owner was converting it into a race car he welded half a cage in the back half of the cage and he installed a b&m shifter mad put some Pontiac ws6 rims on I need to see if I can revive the engine but I am doubtful sitting for 8years might be more then replacing top gaskets oilpan gasket and the running parts like alternator starter radiator gas tank dist cap ECt I planned on starting with cleaning interior and por 15 for rust spots dynomat for the floors door all weather. Strip and I think I will keep the half roll cage or finish it at least for structure I would like to find a color for the bars that don't stand out ( car is red) and am planning for a black/ red interior i will post a picture soon as I can have new job midterms and divorce on my plate now
