Right..so, my ta has no gas gauge. 37k miles..
Original motor.
Now, from what I can tell, my odo is accurate. As in, used my GPS, went on a random route, and my odo is tracking the same amount of miles the gps says. Also used my other car to confirm.
Now, with no gas gauge, I'm using my odo to tell.
I'm thinking I get 17 mpg, so doing my calculation at 15mpg to be safe, which comes to 210 miles.
As of today, my odo went from 37890 to 38100, so I went to fill up. 8 gallons later, and full. tried putting more in in case the pump was off, but nope. She was indeed full.
Now, there's no way in hell I'm getting 26mpg average.

My ta is a 310, eddy performer rpm intake, holley 600, headers with true duals and a small glass pack on each, delco point type dizzy, leaking intake gaskets (internally, only noticeable above 2500rpm) 700r4, 343 posi, and 33" mud tires. No ac, heat, back seats, or most any other creature comforts.

So, either I have a miracle car that gets 26mpg, or my odo is off, despite matching it with a second car (97 Mercedes) and a GPS.
So..what do?

Also just realized this is in the wrong section
