Seatbelt Cleaning

What is the best way to get the seatbelt material clean?
My 'vert has the bright red interior so finding any that are better than mine is doubtful, and I prefer to reuse all the parts that I can, of course.

Peace.

I imagine it will work just as well on seat belts.

Re: Seatbelt Cleaning

take the belts out of the car, extend them out of the ratchet mechanism as far as you can, and soak them in a small pail or bucket of purple power or simple green. Give it a good 15 minutes or so and give em a good scrubbing and rinse them with the hose. You will be suprised what they look like and what the cleaner in the bucket looks like as well. And if they still look bad, take em to a good upholstery shop and have them respooled with new webbing.

You can also try "Folex" Carpet Spot Remover.

Just spray liberally, scrub with small bristle brush (dollar store) and dab dry. WORKS AMAZING.

A lot of club members swear by this product. I've used it to clean the doors on my old TA and door carpet looked like new after.

If you need, I can take a pic of the bottle.
