Headliner seatbelt guides.

I'm probably missing a simple solution but how do you change the seatbelt guides that mount into the headliner..? I'm replacing the headliner and the seatbelt guides..

the replacements I have seen have a slit made in them so you can slip them over the shoulder belt.
