Hey guys,

Just had my oil pressure bulb go out and wanted to replace it. Went to the parts store and bought a 194. Now I've read a lot of different things about replacing these like disconnecting the speedo cable and needing a new socket.

Here's my questions
On my 86 t/a where are the bolts located to remove it?
Is speedo cable removal needed? and how/where?
Can I just pull out the bulbs and replace it or do I need to replace the bulb holder like in some camaros?

I'm not sure man but id like to know also...bump to top for an answer or direction to look for info.

 

Unfortunatly I found there was a bolt holding the trim in behind the ac controls and I don't feel like removing it so I gave up on it until it really irks me but hopefully someone will shed some light!

 

86 does not have a speedo cable, it's a plug in type.Just remove the surrounding panels and pull it out.
