The driver's side seat is just a mess. To fix it I need an upholstery kit (no problem getting that) and new seat foam for both the bottom and the backrest, as the old is more or less falling apart on the side bolsters. Here comes the problem. I haven't found anyone that can still deliver the seat foam for the "Ultima" (RPO AQ9) seats found in the GTA. Is it really no longer available, or does anyone know anywhere I can get my hands on new ones?

Yeah, that's the Camaro bucket seats. Those and the regular seats are easy to find.

The AQ9 Trans Am GTA seats are different and those seat foams won't fit..

My upholsterer had to make new front seat foam from scratch. Not cheap, still haven't picked the seats up 6 months later.

 

If you can disassemble the stock ones, you can probably guess and cut your own foam pieces.

If not, you are almost better buying some aftermarket GT style seats or putting in a set of seats from a 4th gen TransAm. They are almost the same seat.
