stock component?

Hi guys

Does my unlock mechanism (dunno the proper name) looks stock to you? Or is an aftermarket part?

And what about the metal panel to mount the speaker? Stock? I have some doubts because it vibrates with the basses. Not a lovely thing.

THANKS

Re: stock component?

Both are stock, I solved the rattle by running some self tapping stainless screws round the metal panel as well as making sure the other 4 screws are nice and tight.

Probably not the metal speaker bracket that's vibrating.......just be sure that all 4 bracket screws and all 4 speaker screws are tight.

The vibration your hearing is probably the plastic body-vent inside the door jamb.

I can verify that prolonged higher volumes will rattle the screws for the brackets loose, and the holes strip easy. Almost sounds like a blown speaker when it rattles.
