Heating/cooling ducts

Hey guys, i have an issue with my car, you can hear the fan blowing and it sounds like it should be moving alot of air but barely anything comes out the vents. Im thinking is a blend valve or something somewhere, Hoping someone can give me an idea where to look, i hate to tear the whole dash out if i can help it.

Maybe there is a common failure ???

Thanks.

first 2 things I would check is to make sure your vac lines to the ac controls are good and its getting vac. @nd would be the vac selector on the ac controller, they have a tendency of leaking there and its an easy fix.

Check the defrost, I believe that is the default position if you loose vacuum pressure. All the air may be going there

The AC has been ripped out of the vehicle. So no AC at all. But your saying to pull the slide controls out and look and see if i have vacuum at the back of the slide controls correct?

Also the defrost barely pushes out air as well.

Re: Heating/cooling ducts

Ok so i pulled out the control unit and checked the vacuum and its really hard to tell if there is a leak but i dont think there is, however i did notice that if i move the hot cold lever all the way to cold the air flow is alot better, but still not great.

So it appears that it is the hot/cold blend door, at least partially. What is the easiest way to get to it? Im not eve sure where it is.
