My seat was in worse shape than yours. I bought a passenger seat & removed the cover. Took that material and my seat in to an upholstery shop & 2 days later....perfect match

Did the same on my '92 and will do the same on my '85.
Not that tough just finding the right person parting one out locally or finding the right person willing to pull material to ship. I got mine from Beths91camaro on here.
Not even the same material. It's velour.
If you want it factory correct, you'll have to find a passenger seat or an almost perfect driver's seat from a low mileage car
Those are the exact seats in my 90 IROC, only mine are in worse shape. The last thing I have to do to finish the interior & that'll be this winter. I want to keep them stock & after numerous search attempts, could not find the right upholstery. Now, I don't have to worry about that, I just have to find a good upholstery shop in my area that'll get the right material, thanks to all for the info!

Not trying to shill for Classic Camaro, but about half of the seat covers on the link I posted are velour -- the other half have vinyl inserts. It's hard to tell from the pix. But the hounds tooth fabric appears to be a pretty good match for my 89 IROC. You can blow up the illustrations to see the pattern better. One thing they are missing is the embroidered "Camaro" lettering on the velour inserts.
The pattern is not houndstooth it is a stripe. The texture might be correct but the pattern is wrong. Here's a good close-up of my left over material.
Houndstooth is checkerboard pattern. Our seats are stripes.
I agree that the correct material is striped -- I should not have used the term houndstooth. But to my eye, the Classic Camaro material is still a very close match -- in the illustrations, it appears to be similarly striped.
