Thirdgen Dash Pad Question...
Are the dash pads on '82-'84 Camaros and Firebirds interchangeable?
They certainly look the same, but years ago someone told me that the Camaro dash pad won't work on a Firebird (is this true?)...

Re: Thirdgen Dash Pad Question...
Look at the center vents in the Camaro dash, then look at the center vents in the Firebird dash. Note that the dash pad is relieved for the Camaro's vents, but not for the Firebird.

There's a local firebird for sale with a Camaro dash pad.

Re: Thirdgen Dash Pad Question...
Ram it and jam it and you can get anything to fit. Camaro dash pad is an inch deeper front to back than the Firebird pad. Screw locations at the dash edge are different too. Have one of each here in the shop. Keep the good ones just for shows/
