Hush Panel

Question, is the hush panel on the driver side different on a t5 car then an auto? This would be for a 1990.

Re: Hush Panel

Maybe I'm calling it the wrong thing, it would be the under dash panel that has the fuse panel door.

Re: Hush Panel

are you reffering to the interior piece that covers the underside of the steering column? My 91 Firebird has no other panel on the drivers side other than that. And the fuse box is accesible without removing it.

Re: Hush Panel

Well there ya go. Apparently I am missing that panel altogether and didnt even know.

I guess Ill be grabbing up one of those too. lol

To answer your previous question I really cant see why the panel would be any different between an auto an 5 speed.

if it helps you any, my car has a T5. I can get you pics of anything you need if it helps answer your question

Re: Hush Panel

There is another hush panel thread elsewhere in this forum.
Depending on year it was hit or miss on which had left,
right or both panels in place at time of assembly.

Re: Hush Panel

I had read that a few months ago, I could not refind it though the search function. I ended up spending a few days looking page by page to find it on the 18th page. My care does have the Bose system, I feel the Bose front speaker give lack of room for my clutch foot to go when diving. The plan is to remove it, as its non functional. I would like to put a panel in there to give it a clean look, just need to see if I need a special on for the t5.
