Anyone sell the carpet pieces for kick panels, etc?
Getting ready to order a new carpet kit but was wondering if anyone sells the separate pieces of carpet that are glued to the kick panels, rear cargo plastics, etc..? The new carpet will really make those old dirty faded pieces stick out.
Suggestions?

I bought a set from 3rd Gen ranch a few years back and the quality was great.

I just called them. That grey is the only color they offer. Bummer...

Thirdgen ranch has complete sets for $65. If you have the bose option, for a little more he'll include those too.

Does the carpet match the type/quality of what GM originally used? I have heard the kits available use more of a 'felt' like carpet than a nylon cut pile and the color matches by the carpet is a different type.

No it's not exactly like the OEM but I was pretty happy with it. It is kind of like felt but thick. DO NOT use the glue they send with it. Stuff is very hard to work with. And make sure to really clean the old glue and black crap off before installing. I used the 3M spray adhesive and it worked pretty good. For $65 I love it..

If you are changing the carpet in the car, order a few extra yards of carpet from the supplier, and use your old pieces as a template. You will have an exact match.

82tarecaro - did you use one of the kits or (it sounds like) did you order regular carpet and make your own? The pieces in your cargo area look like they're a perfect match!
Would love to see more pics if you have them to share.

I made my own. I saved all the old pieces and used them to template the new pieces, allowing a bit extra. Then i used contact cement to adhere them, doing the final cutting after they were partially stuck to the panels. I also used a heat gun to soften them a bit to get them to bend around all the curves. When you order carpet, tell the supplier you want to order a few extra yards of carpet in roll form. It is a little tough to work with, but you know it will match.
