Lacquer Stained Seat Cleanup

Lacquer Stained Seat Cleanup
So I got another set of seats for my IROC. But the Driver's seat has what appears to be a Lacquer Can stain on it.
I gave it to my detail guy while I am away working. Now he says he has them clean and the stain isn't as visible, but he's hesitant to use anything harsh to try and get the Lacquer out of the seat.
It looks like someone set a can on the seat and it was leaking.
I don't have any pics as I am away until Friday and will be picking up the seat then.
Any tips for removing this type of a stain?
