My 87 Z-28 has the lever for cold to hot on the center console/dash stuck in the cold position. Any ideas on getting this to work? It is getting cold.

Is the lever physically stuck, or does it move, but not actually change the mode? If it's physically stuck, I don't think there's any actual procedure other than to get in there and see what's not working. It's pretty easy to remove the HVAC unit and poke around. ....if it's moving, but not changing the mode, you may have a vacuum line disconnected somewhere. I think the hot/cold was vacuum actuated.

 

There's a small valve but it's mainly cable operated . Cable likely stuck
