My AC cable is no longer attached to the part that opens and closes the damper to close of the heat flap. All I have to go by is a blurry picture from a YouTube video on how it is attached. The cable is intact but I don't know how to re attach it. I know the bend where it is suppose to attach is facing the wrong direction but I think I can fix that easily. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

 

What year? Make? Model?

Some have a pin on the lever and a steel clip keeper, others have a loop in the end of the control cable that slips over a hook on the lever.

 

1989 Formula 350.
