Seat Belt Conversion Issue

I just had new seat belts installed in my IROC and they're not long enough. The body shop that installed the seat belts (had them replace seat belts and carpet while they had the car for paint job) indicated the new ones had no belt retractor on the floor like the old ones and installed them anyhow. And, they cut the old ones up getting them out, so they're junk.

I assumed I had ordered the wrong belts but after going back and looking at what I had ordered from Camaro Central, they're suppose to be a conversion from dual retractor to single retractor (roof retractor only). I researched other vendors and everything I've found is for a conversion from dual retractor to single roof mounted retractor only.

Did the body shop install incorrectly? If so, what do I need to do to make them work properly? Right now the seat belt won't latch even with nobody in the seat, it's too short. Anybody ever run into this issue?

Thanks up front for you help.

Re: Seat Belt Conversion Issue

Never mind. Passenger side works perfect. Driver side is only one hanging up. Going to tear apart and see if I can fix it, send back for replacement if not.
