Switch decals?

I thought I remembered buying the door lock switch decals from top down solutions but it was on a previous Camaro and probably 10 years ago.
Is there anywhere that sells the switch decals now? All of my switches are good but the paint is gone on my door locks, windows and tonneau release and I would like to not have to replace them all.

Re: Switch decals?

Some of the Fiero parts places used to sell decals for some of the switches. The usual fix is to just replace the switches with new ones.

Re: Switch decals?

Thanks. I’ve searched the web and came up with nothing. May just get the wife to try and make some. Spending $ for switches just for the paint that will wear again before the switch fails isn’t on the table. Also, no re-pop available for the tonneau release switch.

Re: Switch decals?

The originals were silk screened, or otherwise printed right onto the plastic switches. A person could probably do the artwork in Photoshop and have custom Letraset rub-ons made. The hard part would be protecting the lettering to keep them from coming off again. Still easier, and probably cheaper to find new old stock switches. It'd be nice if the lettering and images could be redone, I've got a pretty good stash of good switches with the graphics rubbed off.

Re: Switch decals?

You can still buy the lock/ unlock overlays. I’ve used them before and was pleased with them. For a driver quality car, I think they are fine.
for the window/ tonneau switches (tonneau switches with nice graphics aren’t cheap), I think a vinyl decal would be fun for driver quality to me.
mom going to get the wife to see if she can cut it with enough detail and go from there. If that doesn’t work, I’ll do something different.
