Got a 3D printer and have a 4th gen console in my third gen if y'all are interested I can post the STL file for you to use on your own printers. Needs a small bit of adjusting from the picture but it's a functional fit and working print as of right now.
hey, i have made one as well from scratch. How is the fit of yours? do the switches feel tight when installed, and how secure does the whole thing fit? i think i still have some adjusting to do on my prototype as the switches are not as tight as i'd like them to be as well as when its hot out the whole thing tends to become loose.
I have attached my .stl, maybe we can compare and come up with a perfect fit!?
so for switch mount its self it has a pretty solid feel locked in to the ashtray my current issue is switch placement because the switch connectors are so bulky
interesting, looks like yours is wider at the base than mine, and seems to slide down on the outside of where the ashtray would normally sit?
i tried to replicate the ashtray using a caliper, hence my "internal" design. is there something that the hole latches onto on the outside of the ashtray frame?
Or maybe we have different consoles? mine apparently was out of a 94 Z28 manual trans car.
From my understanding there are two or three of 4th gen console. Mine is from a manual and well so we may have different models and my ashtray spot has two protruding clips at the bottom that latch onto the holes in my model.

For anyone wondering about fitment. The pic posted above has been in my car for several days now ans is still very tight and if you ever decide to remove the mount you will have to remove it from the underside of the console.
here is the hybrid i came up with using the bottom half of Toxicant's version and the factory window switches. It fits extremely well and like he said it needs to be removed from beneath the console, by carefully squeezing the two sides in and it will slide out through the top.
the raw product pictured below, i would suggest a sand and paint to finish it off nicely, but it is a perfect solution for someone. Also attached the .stl file for anyone to use!
