original floor mats

Does anyone know where to get the little square rubber gm logo that they used on the old floor mats i'm trying to find the little rubber squares since finding original black floor mats has proved very difficult

Re: original floor mats

Not reproduced that I know of.

I have a well curled and cracked original, and had hoped to make a mold from it, but have not had the time to try it yet.

Re: original floor mats

I'd love to have these as well, but I haven't seen anyone reproduce them (probably due to licensing costs and the fact that no one's going to pay more than about $20 for a pair of them).

Only place I can suggest looking is a junkyard....these were on many GM cars that were built in the 1970s-early 90s. I always look, but never find any.

I'd be in for a few. A variety of factory colors would be awesome.

A little tougher to get a thickness, but this curled up corner allowed me to get under it pretty well.

Re: original floor mats

Alright y’all I’m happy to say my friend with the 3D printer has made the prototype it is made out of plastic now if you want it to be rubber I’m gonna try to make a mold of it and pour some hot rubber into it but he’s gonna make another one in black but here’s how they look right now

Re: original floor mats

I would definitely be interested in several sets if you get them to come out and sell some.

Re: original floor mats

Excellent! Yes, I too would want a set to add to some nice floormats, giving them a more factory look.

Re: original floor mats

Has anyone else noticed a difference between the front floor mats that came from factory with the car and an OME dealer Accessory mats. I have the original set the came with my car and a second set I got later on. The passenger side mat is different shape. Both sets are factory GM Floor mats. I am assuming the second set were Dealer accessory mats.

Any progress on this? My car is in paint jail currently, but next up is interior and I'd like a set of these if they come to fruition.
