Hi, has anyone used Planted seat brackets? And if so how high did they sit because I'm fairly tall. Was thinking of using these with Corbeau FX1 PRO seats because the brackets that come with those I've heard sit high.

Update:
I'm just about 6 feet tall and these sat very high for me. In other words, I couldn't have a helmet on in the car. My head would hit the t tops by a lot. Hope this helps someone else decide on purchasing these. I'm now going to make custom seat brackets and cut out the factory crossmember to get down low.

 

look for Pontiac Fiero seat rails..they are 2" shorter in front and almost 3" in back.. and are a 100% bolt in to 82/92 Camaros. and will bolt up to GM seats.. THE ONLY Mod you will need it a small Hole in the front to screw the Black Camaro cover Caps on..(as seen in the pic below)


Above the Fiero seat rails drop in to the camaros. and even have the same slides..(Recaro brakets Bolted on to) note: rails sitting low on on the Camaro studs..

Im 6'4". this drops the seat down.. and with my Track Helmet on I still have room..
