Looking for cup holder ideas for my 1988 gta auto. What did you do?

 

These are what I put in mine. Not many more choices unfortunately.

you could add the 90-92 cup holders to the door. I think that would require changing the door panel though.

 

They're tidy looking and blend in well with the 3rd gen interior imo, and they're cheap. It's just a case of putting them in a spot where you leg/ knee won't get in the way.

That's such a good, simple idea! I have a '91 Firebird that's missing the driver's side door cupholder and I simply can't find one (haven't been able to for over 2 years now). So I'm gonna order one of these just to have a cupholder until I can find a factory piece.

if your trying to keep the interior as stock as possible then you cam search out a set of factory door pockets a pictured. If you are not set on keeping the interior stock you can move the power mirror switches to the ash tray and cut a hole for a cup holder insert there. Finally you can swap out the center console to a 4thgen with the 98-02 being the most desired a it gives you four cup holders total
