Hey folks,

As the title states, I'm trying to convert to a red interior (seats, carpet, plastics, headliner, etc) for my 85 TA. Open to carmine, flame, or dark red options. I know what's required, and I've been doing some searching for aftermarket options, I could piece together a red interior from aftermarket suppliers but it'd be pretty expensive.

I wanted to throw this out there and see if anyone had converted using a cheap aftermarket supplier or if anyone has red interiors they'd part with. Not picky on styles, I just love the look of the vintage red interiors. Looking for advice more than hoping for parts, so that's why this is a tech thread not a parts wanted ad; but if anyone's got the parts please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Manta, just did! Might have a bead on an interior out in TX, fingers crossed. The carmine and gray sure does look awesome

I think I have a pair of the caps that cover the ends of the rear hatch struts in red, I'll look and let ya know. Not much but it's something!

 

If your looking to change your interior plastics to Carmine let me know, I can supply you with a source that will mix your paint and put it in a spray can
